HMCS is structured into 25 areas within six regions and Wales. Each area has a director, who is responsible for the delivery of services in their area and ensuring that the agency is focussed on its customers and is meeting local needs. Each region is headed by a director, who supports their area directors. The regional director works in partnership with the judiciary, Courts Boards and other agencies to ensure the efficient administration of justice.
